Dav Nagle - Music Producer and Owner
Dav Nagle is the entrepreneur and founder of PopStar Studios. Dav is also a creative music producer, sound engineer and songwriter. A talented guitar player with over 18 years of experience he has played with celebrities such as Linda Martin (Eurovision song contest winner) and Francis Black (The Black Family) on Irish national television. Dav has a diploma in the performing arts and loves nothing more than mixing audio for clients. The arts are where Dav is most happy and he has an impressive 8 years of music teaching experience to his name. Dav programs music and is a very clean editor but spends most of his time recording and mixing using Pro Tools 8 and Logic 9. Dav has released his own album on iTunes and continues to write and arrange with artists on a regular basis. Currently Dav is starting to do work for video game companies and is a judge and sponsor in this year’s all Ireland Teen Idol singing contest.
Eanan Patterson - Music Composer
Award winning composer, sound designer & engineer, Éanán, has been scoring music professionally since 2004. He has worked on multiple commissions for Ireland’s national broadcaster RTÉ, as well as other well-known production companies like Lotus Media, Setanta Ireland and Sony Pictures in Los Angeles.
Éanán is a graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School of Music (pre-college division) where he studied violin and piano with professors Sally Thomas, Ann Setzer and Elena Wolkonsky. He received a Recording Arts degree in Music Engineering & Production at Full Sail College, Florida, has a specialist certificate in Music Theory & Orchestration from the Berklee College of Music in Boston and is a Digidesign certified audio-post operator for Pro Tools systems. As a violinist, he has performed in major concert venues including Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, New York, Boston Symphony Hall and the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
Currently he is scoring the 3rd season of Microsoft's acclaimed web series, "The Guild", for which he earned a "Best Original Music" nomination at the Los Angeles Streamy Awards this year. With over 25 million viewers and numerous awards won, the series has quickly become an online sensation.
Lucy Mara - Marketing Director
Every enterprise needs a marketing focus which is what Lucy Mara does for PopStar Studios. She has had 7 years of Marketing and Communications experience in Australia and Ireland. One of the most important aspects of marketing for PopStar studios is relationship management with clients inside and outside of the music industry, which is where Lucy's experience from various sectors comes into play. In Australia, Lucy helped set up 'Live in the Livingroom' in Melbourne which has attracted a massive audience. Lucy is the main representative and spokeswoman for PopStar Studios and handles both internal and external affairs with business clients.
